Coretronics, Inc. was incorporated in 1997 in Boise, ID. The founders of the company were avid motor coach users and saw a need in the market for a trip management computer designed especially for motor home owners. In 1999 the first production TripTek trip computers were installed on motor coaches. Since then, Coretronics has worked to improve upon the original design and offer to motor coach users all the features that they desired in a trip management computer.
